An art exhibition titled \'Beyond the border\' is currently going on at the Gallery Impressions.
The exhibition features art by Sadek Ahmed and Farzana Ahmed. Following are details about the two artists:
SADEK AHMED graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. He has won the “Rembrandt-400” award, handed to him by the Netherlands Embassy & SPBA, in 2006. He also won the Media best award in water color and print making in 2002 and 2003. His artwork was also featured in the annual art Exhibition of the Institue of Fine art,University of Dhaka.
FARZANA AHMED is an M.F.A (2nd Part), Print making department, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka.
She won the Media best award in Print making, Annual art Exhibition, Institue of Fine art,University of Dhaka in 2001. One of her solo exhibitions were organized at the Chuwa Gallery of Ginza, Tokyo in Japan. For more information about her art check out:

The exhibition will be open to all daily from Sunday to thursday 10am till 4pm and again from 6pm till 8pm. On Saturday, it will be open to all from 10am till 1pm. The exhibition will run till February 12.

The poster is not representative of the paintings. Only a dozen of paintings. Both artists use watercolor, cheap paper that contrast with the design squarre frames. Sadek's work depicts old Dhaka scenes with classical drawing, while Farzana's one is abstract with mixted technic.
