POSTER EXHIBITION

Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall that happened last year, Goethe-Institut Bangladesh in cooperation with the German Embassy presents a Poster Exhibition,titled ‘From Peaceful Revolution to German Unity’ at the South Point School & College.

The fall of the Berlin Wall was one of the most significant events of the last century and was a turning point in history for the whole world. With a combination of peaceful pressure and courageous perseverance, the people of East Germany helped bring down the infamous Wall on November 9th, 1989.

The exhibition will be at sight in South Point School & College from February 3, 2010 till February 9 during school hours.

H.E. Holger Michael, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany and Angela Grünert, director of Goethe Institut Bangladesh will inaugurate the show at 2.00 PM on that day. The exhibition will be open to all daily from Feburary 3 till 9 from 8:30am till 3pm daily.
